While I was waiting at the meeting point for this week’s tailgate (NC State at FSU) I wandered.over to the case station/convenience store on the corner, which apparently is now closed and based on other areas of Tally probably slated to be torn down and replaced with something even more obnoxious. Since the building appears to be vintage gas station I decided to snap a few pics before it meets its demise. Nothing particularly cool.anoint the joint except that this style is dwindling and will soon be hard to find, so why not.

Center of Tallahassee
The day after Black Friday 2018, so Black Saturday?, what I would guess is still traditionally a busy shopping day, we risked a trip to what was once known as The Tallahassee Mall, now The Center of Tallahassee (even though its on the north side of town…), thinking that since the Big Game (UF/FSU) was…
Phone Booth – Central Park – NYC – June 26 2015
A couple from the back-log, this could also be posted in PlacesGoneBy[e]’s sister blog A Scrod In New York, but its more fitting here I think. This phone booth was just off the terrace over Wollman Rink in Central Park (which doubles as a carnival in the summer). I went back by there in 2017…
