Perry Hotels/Motels/Restaurants – Perry, FL

On one of my jaunts down US 27 to Central Florida I finally took time to stop and get a few snaps of the various hotels/motels/etc around Perry, FL, which at one point, before the interstates I’m sure, appears to have been a major stopping point for Yankees heading south, but today is just barely hanging on for dear life in many cases.  Some of these places still have what I would imagine are their original names and signs, others, such as the Days Inn, of course have been refitted (you can tell the DI was obviously a Howard Johnson’s originally, based on its restaurant alone), and some aren’t even motel at all anymore (Bookmart…).  So here’s the rundown and the snaps, enjoy!
